A sick leave from work is a serious health issue that requires a personal examination by a doctor, accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment. During a personal meeting in the doctor's surgery, we will be able to provide you with the best possible care and issue the appropriate sick leave for work.

That is why we ask you to come to our surgery, where you will be provided with appropriate medical care and examination.

Since January 1st, 2020, there is an amendment to Act No. 187/2006 Coll., on sickness insurance, which introduces the electronic Sick Leave (eSick Leave).

The obligation to issue the eSick Leave rests with the doctor who, through his examination, has determined that the patient's health condition does not allow him to perform his work. This applies to doctors of all specialties except medical emergency and rescue services.

A general practitioner must not issue and record an eSick Leave for conditions outside of their expertise, i.e. in cases where they are not the curing physicians for the disease in question. Please do not ask us to expose ourselves to the risk of being penalized by supervisory authority for violating the applicable legislation.

In short: The doctor who treats the patient also manages the eSick Leave.

Being your doctor, it is my responsibility to ensure that all medical procedures and interventions are based on your current health status and my clinical assessment. If another doctor requested blood samples, or you found a need yourself on the Internet, consulting with me at first is required. In the event that the indication is not part of my expertise or I cannot confirm its necessity given my own assesment, the samples will have to be taken by the doctor who declared the need or who approved them based on the evaluation of your condition.

Due to the high volume of calls on our phone line and our efforts to keep the office running smoothly, we may not be able to answer all incoming calls. We ask for your understanding and patience.

Complications that cannot be foreseen in advance occur from time to time in the healthcare environment. There may also be unexpected emergencies that require immediate medical attention. In such cases, we must prioritize medical care for those patients whose current condition requires immediate medical attention and cannot tolerate further delay.

These situations may affect our schedules as well as the time you are scheduled for and may cause delays in handling the needs of patients with scheduled appointments.

Your health and comfort are a priority for us, and we are not indifferent to your time spent in the waiting room. Therefore, we want to assure you that we pay attention to efficient planning and adherence to time schedules in order to minimize possible delays at the time of your order as much as possible.

However, if there are delays, please be patient and understanding. Next time, someone else may be delayed again, for example, because of us taking care of you.

Your medical reports are an important part of your overall medical history and are a key tool in providing the best healthcare. It is important that your GP has all medical reports from all doctors available. This will enable better care coordination between different healthcare providers and ensure that your GP has a complete picture of your health. It also minimizes the risk of duplicate tests, ineffective treatment and improves the overall care of your health. Your medical reports are therefore an important part of your GP health record.

If you want to keep the reports for your own purposes, please make copies of them before visiting our office. Copying reports by the staff during office hours affects the waiting time of other patients, and is funded by the patient per the current price list.
